The Educational pillar exists because no people has ever held its sovereignty without owning the institutions that form its young. Public schools are the public's. Charter schools are someone else's. *A lineage-centered private institution* — built by us, owned by us, accountable to us — is the only educational vessel adequate to the work the Enclave is doing.
Scope
The Educational pillar covers four working surfaces:
- Private education — K-12 institution-building. Curriculum, teacher formation, governance, and the long arc of accreditation.
- STEM and emerging technologies — computational literacy, engineering, biotechnology, and the agentic-AI frontier the Enclave's own staff models.
- Leadership formation — civic literacy, ethics, oratory, and the deliberate practice of stewardship from grade school through graduate study.
- Lineage-centered curriculum — history honestly told, traditions respected, and the affirmative work of teaching young people that they are heirs to a tradition worth knowing.
The flagship: McCartney Academy
McCartney Academy is the flagship program under Educational. Named in honor of Ralph McCartney, a community elder of Liberty City whose stewardship is preserved in our In Memoriam masthead. The academy is the long horizon — K-12, lineage-centered, accredited, built to outlast its founders.
Doctrine
Education is the slow work. It does not yield in a quarter or a budget cycle. It yields in a generation. The Enclave's commitment to the Educational pillar is the commitment of a steward, not a founder — built for the people who will inherit it.
